The meeting has been convened by the Mayor/Chair under Standing Order 6(a). Due to the time-sensitive nature of the matters requiring determination, the meeting has been convened at shorter notice in accordance with the Council’s Standing Orders.

To consider requests from BRACE for permission to hold the following events on Council-owned land at Cae Bodfach, having regard to the information, risk assessments and insurance documentation provided:
- Forest Garden Tour – 27 September 2026
- Apple Picking Day – 3 October 2026
Decision required: To approve or refuse permission for the events to take place and agree any conditions to be attached to that permission.

To consider whether the Council wishes to proceed with temporary road closure arrangements for the Christmas Market on 27 November 2026, taking account of the conditions, traffic management requirements and associated costs involved.

The decision is required urgently to enable the necessary application and traffic management arrangements to be progressed within the timescales specified by Powys County Council.

Decision required: To determine whether to proceed with the road closure and associated additional expenditure and, if approved, authorise the Town Clerk to progress the necessary arrangements.
